SOLUTIONS PROVIDED FOR EUROPE

UK

Water/Waste water treatment.  Many of the UK water companies have Cepha Controls control software, either provided direct to the Water Companies or via the major Water/Sewage Treatment design companies such as Veolia, Biwaters, Black and Veatch, Enpure, Lang O Rouke.

UK Wide - Control Systems for a variety of applications

Government Agencies - various locations - Site, security and fire monitoring system

Isle of Man - thermal sludge dryer with a Mitsibushi control system and MX2000 SCADA package.  Existing software was retrieved, tested and enhanced to meet the site needs.  The scope included the supply of ATEX rated instrumentation, Intrinsically Safe circuits and electrical engineering (including installation and commissioning).

Northern Ireland - supplied a number of blower control systems to Northern Ireland Water Services.

IRELAND

Major improvement to the Ringsend Waste Water Treatment Work. This is a vast treatment works (inlet flows up to 23 m3/s). The control system consists of some 35 PLCs (mainly Allen Bradley ). The system makes extensive use of Devicenet with about 150 devicenet networks on site. The SCADA system consists of three main Intouch workstations with a further  6  used as local operator interfaces.    Solved a number of long standing control problems to allow our client to complete the ¼ billion euro project.

NETHERLANDS

Designed and supplied two aeration blower control systems. The control system is based on the Allen Bradley CompactLogix range of PLCs. Each blower control system used dual PLC processors to provide a redundant system which was integrated onto the site system using Modbus over Ethernet.

FINLAND

Supplied a number of aeration blower control systems to a manufacturer of low pressure compressors. The systems have included Siemens S7-300 system and Allen Bradley Compact Logic systems and either include a profibus network and modbus serial communications.

ITALY

Provided the electrical designs and the software for an aeration blower control system installed and commissioning by our client.

SWITZERLAND

Worked with Andritz, a global market leader, on the safety improvements on a thermal sludge dryer.

Designed and supplied electrical burner control panels for 4.5 MW burners for a Swiss client.
